Murine Typhus-Reevaluation of It´s Present Status in Korea

Abstract
|
|
|
1) Clinical survey with complement fixation test and Ricekttsial agglutination test revealed that there are afair number of murine typhus among systemic febrile diseases which occure recently in this country.
2) Although the scientific value and usefulness of complement fixation test and Rickettsial agglutination test in the diagnosis of murine typhus are well recognized a simpler and more convenient immunelogical diagnostic technique is required in clinical practice.
